We believe that the Bible is God’s holy and inspired word.We take the Bible for exactly what it says within the context that it was written.Great theology and the teaching of God’s Word should always be as simple as it is profound.Truth can be understood by even a child. (2 Tim. 3:15-17, 2 Pet. 1:21; 1 Thess. 2:13)
•God exists in 3-persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; Is. 43:10-11; Luke 3:22)
•The deity of Jesus and His virgin birth. (Matt. 1:23; 1 Cor. 15:3; 1 Pet. 2:22; Matt. 28:6)
•Salvation is through Christ alone. (Jn. 3:3; Rom. 10:9 & 10)
•Water Baptism by immersion. (Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:4)
•The Baptism in the Holy Spirit as found in Acts. (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4)
•A continual work of sanctification. (Rom. 6:1-13; Heb. 12:14)
•The blessed hope, the rapture of the Church. (1 Thess. 4:16-17; Titus 2:13; Rom. 8:23)
We believe that worship is a type of communication with God and should happen both personally and corporately.
John 4:24, “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.”
Ephesians 5:19-20, “Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 12:1, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship.”
